Non-profits are the heart and "Sol" of communities everywhere, and the missions they serve are only possible through generous giving, volunteerism, and community support. In South Monterey County, we have an amazing group of people that constantly show up for Sol Treasures, and we are so grateful for that!

This year, we are doing an annual fund drive in June to bring the arts to the forefront of community engagement, and we have a line up of amazing businesses that have committed to helping us with our efforts!

Starting on June 13 with a Father's Day backyard concert, and culminating in a Meet the Artist event with ANOTHER backyard concert evening, this summer is not one to miss! Sol Treasures will host a Rummage Sale on June 20, 21st and 22nd, and are excited to kick off our restaurant support part of the drive with Castro's Surf N' Turf on Monday June 23rd! With 10% of their profit being donated back to Sol Treasures! This continues with the amazing folks at Rising Phoenix on Wednesday, June 25th, Hestia on Friday June 27th, The Cork & Plough on Wednesday, July 2nd, California Gourmet Pizza on Tuesday July 8th, and Bloom Coffee on Wednesday July 9th! Also, head to Greenfield and have some Jamba Juice on Tuesday July 1st with the code "Sol Treasures"! What an amazing line up of local eateries to help support the arts!

We can't do what we do without YOU! Please consider joining us during this month of fun, and heading to these businesses with your patronage to support both their efforts in the community and the mission of Sol Treasures!

"Wassily Kandinsky stated 'color is a power which directly influences the soul'. I have been with Sol Treasures for over 8 years. My world is much more colorful and creative now. Teaching art was not in my comfort zone. This quote from Vincent VanGogh fits my experience, "What would life be if we ha no courage to attempt anything?" The staff at Sol Treasures believed in me. Their belief helped my self confidence to grow. My students taught me more at times then I taught them! Frida Kahlo endured more then she thought she could. I too found I could ensure more. Sol Treasures, staff, and students added sunshine to my life at a very intense difficult time!
