OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Sol Treasures awakens and nurtures appreciation and passion for the arts in people of all ages in South Monterey County and provides a home for creative and inspiring opportunities to unify the community through the arts.

OUR VISION STATEMENT

Sol Treasures aspires to be the heart of a community united in the joy and peace that art can bring.

OUR IMPACT

  • 26 – 29 after-school classes weekly in schools and housing projects;
  • 300 participants weekly in Sol Treasures Programs;

12 -14 PROGRAMS

  • After School Art at Elementary & Middle Schools in King City, San Lucas, & San Ardo;
  • CHISPA Art Classes at Vineyard Green, Tyler Park, Walnut Grove and Villa San Miguel;
  • Onsite Enrichment Classes in Painting, Textile Arts, Journaling, Floral Design and more;
  • Gallery and Gift Shop with 6 exhibits/year;
  • Meet the Artist Events & Student Field Trips;
  • Backyard Concerts;
  • Special Events with World-Class Musicians;
  •  Dinner Show Fund Raiser, featuring local talent;
  • Two Annual Children’s Musical Theatre Productions;
  • Show Choir and Timshel Adult Community Choirs;
  • SOL-O Youth Strings Orchestra;
  • Summer Art, Theatre, Strings Camps;
  • Private Piano, Guitar, and Strings Instruction;
  • Beautiful Community Drought –Tolerant Art-scape;

  • 60 onsite workshops, concerts, and events each year;
  • 80 artists, artisans, writers in the shop;
  • 350 Donors and Volunteers supporting Sol Treasures Programs;
  • 3,775 volunteer hours each year provided by volunteers to produce classes, concerts, theater programs, and gallery/shop activities;
  • 1,397 volunteer hours donated to the shop;
  • 1,607 volunteer hours donated by the Board of Directors;
  • Over 12,709 audience members each year;
